Hello Gentlemind. Good to see you back. Thank you for that sequence.

Yes, I think all that follows through. And yes, those in power always knew, and continue to know, that marriage is about the potential for responsible procreation and parenthood. It was society's universal social construct for attaching husbands to wives, and vice versa, and both to their offspring, encouraging strong family units and a healthy society. But they were just determined to encourage the extreme individualism and selfishness which are the hallmarks of this godless, age in the west. We are careering into an unknown future largely cut off from our cultural and religious past. Already social conditions in the west would be barely recognizable to a time traveller from a mere 50/60 years ago. We may be technologically advanced, and some things are better, but we are generally becoming philosophical and religious barbarians. It is the weakest that suffer the most, the unborn, the children and those like the many single parents often sadly living in state supported poverty who have been caught up, as collateral damage, in these changes. We are clearly on a downwards spiral as our civilization undermine its very foundations.
